Eva Balounová received the Visegrad Group Academies Young Researcher Award 2023 in Warsaw on 19 October. This year's award was dedicated to research on climate change in the global and polar dimensions. The award was conferred by the President of the CAS, Eva Zažímalová.

The book Klimatické právo (Climate Law) by a team of authors led by Hana Müllerová and with a foreword by Prof. Bedřich Moldan has just been published by Wolters Kluwer. It is the first comprehensive treatment of climate law in the Czech language.
